What We Do
The Jackson Laboratory (JAX) is an independent, nonprofit biomedical research institute combining innovation, reliability, and commitment to customer service to provide the most clinically relevant mouse models and precision services. With an extensive and ever-expanding portfolio of mouse models that span the genetic spectrum, including custom genetically humanized mice, as well as aged mice that are available off-the-shelf for worldwide shipment, and services such as target validation and drug efficacy studies, JAX is committed to providing researchers with the most advanced tools to support their neurobiological research and enable efficacious drug design. In service of their mission to empower the global biomedical community, JAX offers education, hands-on training, and resources to grow future scientists, alongside access to advising from subject matter experts.
